We visited Garbage City where Stacey & Matt go to minister. It is a cultural shock and a heart-breaker.

Arriving In Egypt

Our first day was spent just having fun with family. Matt and I went to the Starbucks right down the road after taking Madison and Matthew Ray to their hadonna (pre-school).

Eddie & Pam Quick Visit

Eddie and Pam stopped by to visit and spent the night on their way to drive the Pacific Coast Highway.

Mother's Day

A Happy Mother's Day wearning a new necklace from Micah, at church, getting a Happy Mother's Day call at the supermarket, and smiling at e-cards (loved the one about eating veggies).

Spring Planting Time

We spent the day planting new shurbs and flowers. We've always had "black" thumbs and everything we plant die. The nursery said we couldn't even kill this stuff--we'll see.
