Friday we had a mid-afternoon lunch with Pastor Mounir, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Cairo. His neighborhood reflects much of the city. From there we went to the market for quite a cultural experience.

We visited Garbage City where Stacey & Matt go to minister. It is a cultural shock and a heart-breaker.

Arriving In Egypt

Our first day was spent just having fun with family. Matt and I went to the Starbucks right down the road after taking Madison and Matthew Ray to their hadonna (pre-school).
